A community where children connect and grow, a place to play and share their voice. East Maitland Preschool Association operates two community-based preschools in the area, one in Brunswick Street and the other in George Street. Both preschools are rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard. Our play-based programs are based on the Early Years Learning Framework and are delivered by experienced, qualified Teachers and Educators. We are open during school terms from 8.15am to 3.45pm for children aged 3 to 6 years of age. Enrolments are for 2 or 3 days a week, dependent on availability. Fee Relief is available to provide 2 days of free preschool. |

George Street Preschool and Brunswick Street Preschool are part of a community based non-profit organisation, the East Maitland Preschool Association Inc. and all families who attend preschool join as members of the Association. All income is reinvested into our program, providing the very best preschool experience for you and your child.

Our History |
East Maitland Preschool - George Street was established in 1956 in a renovated hall, some years later there was such a demand for Preschool placements that money was raised by the East Maitland Preschool Association to build the Brunswick Street Preschool, which was opened in 1976. Over the years thousands of children from the local community have attended our preschools, with many now bringing their own children back to our preschools.
